...I was just hoping for an honest answer, that's all... I know you hate it, but at least try and see things from my eyes? I saw my friend about to cry, I didn't think, and I blurted out "You're gonna cry?"... She snaps at me, saying to stop boss her around... I drop it, but keep an eye on her, worried that something is upsetting her when she had seemed fine minutes ago. She is crying... "I was right..." I blurt out, again, not thinking, but worried, damnit! Then she just looks at me like I've slapped her in the face, running from the room....

Your tone may as have slapped me. "I told you so." That was what you said. "I was right" is tolerable. "I told you so." Is a mocking phrase that tells me that even when I try to pretend to be happy so that I will GET happy, I am nothing but a fraud inside and out. If I want to talk, I will talk. If I am crying when I don't want to, the last thing I need is for it to be pointed out.
